Within our central kitchen in Western
Australia, our executive chef, sous chef and dietician work
together to ensure that all of our residents enjoy a variety
of nutritionally balanced, delicious meals. At Clarence Estate in Albany, we have a
hotel standard kitchen on-site, where our chef prepares all meals.
At each of our homes in New South Wales, we have tasty home
cooked meals prepared onsite.
As food plays such an important role in
achieving both good health and a high quality of life, we create
menus that deliver a complete dining experience to all residents,
focusing on great taste and variety. Every four weeks, our
menu is refreshed to provide new options for breakfast, lunch,
dinner, morning tea, afternoon tea and supper. Each month we also
cater for a theme day throughout our homes.
We also understand the specific nutrition and hydration needs of
our residents and develop innovative meals that support their
clinical care. Our food meets the Dietary Guidelines for Older
Australians and we go above and beyond to provide meals that never
compromise on taste but always deliver maximum nutritional
value.
Our dietician works closely with each resident and with our central
kitchen to ensure that individual needs and personal preferences
are catered for. Residents' weights and nutritional requirements
are closely monitored and reviewed, while our speech pathologist
also assesses and provides recommendations for residents who
experience difficulties eating.
We offer choices of hot and cold meals and can cater for allergies,
intolerances and culturally specific needs.
