Read more >Concorde Aged Care Home residents got a chance to go for gold with a Mini-Olympics event held at the South Perth Senior Citizens Centre. Three teams of four residents from the home took part in the action and others came along to watch and cheer them on. They were joined by other teams of community members.
The day involved a wide range of games including indoor bowls, skittles, a bean bag toss, bocce, quoits and casino games. Players also got to use Nerf guns and remote-controlled cars. The residents thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the event participants all received a medal and a certificate for taking part.
